Keep your ErgoOne® manual pipettes in factory accuracy and precision specifications with our calibration, preventative maintenance, and ErgoOne® repair services. USA Scientific offers three levels of service to meet your laboratory requirements. All levels share the following features and procedures:

Level 1.0 Calibration
Includes cleaning, inspection, and calibration.
  • Pipettes are dismantled and fully cleaned. All seals and o-rings are inspected. If replacement parts are required, you will be notified prior to calibration.
  • A total of eight readings for inaccuracy and imprecision will be taken, four at the nominal volume and four at the minimum volume. The pipette will be labeled with the date of service, technician initials, next recommended calibration date, and serial number if available.
  • Level 1.0 includes email notification to your specified address upon receipt at our facility, interior and exterior inspection and cleaning, calibration, traceable and dated service label, email reminder service, email return notification, and free return shipping (continental US only).

Level 2.0 Calibration
Includes cleaning, inspection, preventative maintenance, calibration and certification.
  • Pipettes are dismantled and fully cleaned. Preventative maintenance includes inspection of the piston, shaft, shaft coupling, tip ejector, plunger button, plunger rod, springs, seals and o-rings. A leak test will be done after reassembly. If additional replacement parts are required, you will be notified prior to calibration.
  • A total of eight readings for inaccuracy and imprecision will be taken, four at the nominal volume and four at the minimum volume. The pipette will be labeled with the date of service, technician initials, next recommended calibration date, and serial number if available. You will also receive a full preventative maintenance report, listing of any replacement parts, and a certificate of calibration.
  • Level 2.0 includes email notification to your specified address upon receipt at our facility, interior and exterior inspection and cleaning, calibration, traceable and dated service label, email reminder service, email return notification, and free return shipping (continental US only).

Level 3.0 Calibration
Includes cleaning, inspection, "As Found" readings, preventative maintenance, calibration and certification.
  • Pipettes are dismantled and fully cleaned. Preventative maintenance includes inspection of the piston, shaft, shaft coupling, tip ejector, plunger button, plunger rod, springs, seals and O-rings. A leak test will be done after reassembly. If additional replacement parts are required, you will be notified prior to calibration.
  • There are a total of 20 readings for inaccuracy and imprecision. Eight "As Found" readings, four at the nominal volume and four at the minimum volume, are included. After cleaning and preventative maintenance, 12 readings will be performed, four at the nominal volume, four at 50% of the nominal volume, and four at the minimum volume. The pipette will be labeled with the date of service, technician initials, next recommended calibration date, and serial number if available. You will also receive a full preventative maintenance report, a listing of any replacement parts, and a certificate of calibration.
  • Level 3.0 includes email notification to your specified address upon receipt at our facility, interior and exterior inspection and cleaning, calibration, traceable and dated service label, email reminder service, email return notification, and free return shipping (continental US only).
Mail-In Service Information
All orders for calibrations must be accompanied by a completed decontamination form. Please pack your pipettes carefully to prevent breakage during shipment to us. Choose a traceable shipping method and insure your package.
